About us

Specializing in Swedish photography from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, we maintain the most extensive private collections of vintage photography in Scandinavia.

Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the legacy of history’s most important photographers. Since 2017, we have been helping private collectors as well as public institutions to discover and acquire original works of the leading pioneers of photography.

ART ADVISING

As an independent art advisory within photography, we can help you in all steps of building and managing your art collection. If you are interested in starting investing in photography, or if you are looking to complete your existing collection with unique pieces, we are happy to assist.

RESEARCH

As our vast photography collection carries a high cultural and historical value, we have started an initiative to create a comprehensive digital archive dedicated to Swedish photography history.

This ambitious project aims to compile and curate thousands of original works of invaluable visual records, preserving the rich heritage and evolution of photography within Sweden, dating from the nineteenth to the twentieth century.

Within our devotion to collecting fine art and important time documents, we see it as our responsibility to digitally preserve and make these pictures available for future generations of researchers, scholars, and art lovers.

The digital archive is still a work in progress and is not yet available online.

If you are searching for pictures or information regarding Swedish photography for professional research, academic purposes, or for providence and authorization, you are welcome to book a meeting with us.

MUSEUM LOANS

With the objective to share our collection with a wider audience, we are always open to lending works from our collection to exhibitions in museums and cultural institutions in Sweden and abroad.

FOR INVESTORS

Our recent acquisition – The Lennart Nilsson Estate’s complete archive of original vintage photographs – is an invaluable collection. Stretching from the very start of Nilsson’s career, in the mid-1940s to his death in 2017, this body of works tells the full story of one of history’s most important photographers.

We plan to use this collection as the cornerstone for opening a museum dedicated to Swedish photography. This museum would be the first of its kind in Sweden, with means to inspire and educate an international audience of visitors and scholars.

To bring this project to life, we seek financial partners who share our ambitions to celebrate and strengthen Sweden’s unique heritage of photography.

As a new associate, you will access the lifetime opportunity to become a co-owner of the Lennart Nilsson collection – by a percentage matched to your investment.
